Business Integration

EAI & EDI. Since the early days in 1998 Brain² developed his own integration framework, called SEA. SEA stands for Enterprise Integration Architecture. The basis of this architecture is the concept of an enterprise bus on which we plug the vertical applications. This enterprise bus can be based on a messaging system (ex. IBM's Websphere™ MQ) or on web-services. The key part of this architecture is that the different applications are loosely coupled so that they don't need to know each other’s communication details. In this way we can change the applications independent from each other.

Later we have introduced the EAI, Enterprise Application Integrator, which implements the routing and formatting logic in the Enterprise Bus. This eliminates the complexity in the applications. In this way we can change the applications independent from each other.

In the domain of Business Integration, Brain² positioned itself as an expert in the IBM Websphere Integration product family (MQ, WMB, WPS,...). This is reflected in the fact the Brain² is one of the leading partners in this domain for the IBM education centers. Besides the IBM products we have implemented integration frameworks based on Microsoft and Open Source technology.

In 2003 Brain² has developed his own product suite of integration products, called Montova™. The Montova products have embedded a lot of knowhow that our professionals have gained during the implementation of integration projects for customers.
